We’re almost over the worst of winter .. I hope. There is only a few days left of January .. and things are finally starting to warm up out here .. if you consider 35 as a warm up. Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel my plans for a short road trip out to Ohio next week. My mother is back home from the hospital and doing better. Part of her recovery requires daily injections, twice a day … so, now I can add “male nurse” to my resume. Sure I’m not happy, but what can I do … she needs to get healthy again.
My day starts early now, just trying to get use to that .. I do like to sleep. Even if I leave my bed for just a moment, I return to 92 pounds of German Shepherd curled up right where I was sleeping. I have to maneuver around him to get back under the covers. Rex is my little buddy .. but, he keeps me warm at night.
