The weather has been brutal out here .. at the moment it’s -4 degrees without the wind chill. A little cold outside by most standards. I was out most of Saturday with shows and earlier today I had a little time to go down into my shop for some repairs. We’ve got some bigger shows coming up and I’ve got to get things in order to hit the road. It really felt good to get my mind going again. Then it all started coming back to me .. the ideas just started to flow.
Right now I’m also involved in a project creating theatrical illusions for a play. The pieces were all coming together and I had to make some sketches before I lost the idea. That’s how it goes .. I usually have a notebook near by … everywhere I go. No joke, even when I’m driving something will pop in my head and I’ve got to get it on paper. I even have a notebook under my bed. Some of my best ideas come to me in my sleep. It may sound a little nutty .. but, I come up with some near genius ideas .. really. It’s just about time to get some sleep, been a long day.
I bet Einstein had a notebook under his bed …
